Letters to the Editor have appeared recently in the Express times on the Pax/March move and here is a detailed piece that ran in Express-Times columnist Tony Rhodin's Blog:

Solving potentially polarizing problems

Kerry MyersIt is Kerry Myers' right and duty to speak out if he sees racism or classism or pretty much any -ism. But as a member of the Easton Area School District board, it is his responsibility to consider the hopes and fears of all the school district's residents, even though he only represents a portion of them.

Mr Myers is free to comment as he pleases--sound like a pretty basic freedom to me.

One of the past problems with EASB was the unwillingness to comment! Lots of stuff got passed with no comments from any Board member--and in many cases I doubt some had a clue as to what was at issue, they merely voted as management suggest might be "good." More questions need to be asked!

EASB is going to get stuck with some very poorly thought out tax games by City and its Authorities like EHA and few are raising serious questions aboutlong term impact on education or costs of education....and tax increases....

Will the last taxpayer in City please turn out the lights when he or she leaves?
